Every Sunday at 9:45 am, before the morning service, Pastor Drew is walking through the book of Revelation one passage at a time. It is a class, not a sermon: bring your Bible and a notebook, ask questions, and catch up on anything you missed with the videos below.
Revelation has a reputation for being confusing, and plenty of people have used it to predict dates and name the Antichrist. That is not what this class is. From the first verse, the book tells you what it is about: the revelation of Jesus Christ — His sacrificial death, His resurrection, and His promised return. If we get so far into the weeds that we cannot find Jesus anymore, we have gone too far.

How do you read a book written in symbols? Pastor Drew shows how apocalyptic pictures work (a wedding ring, a skull and crossbones, 9-1-1), why Revelation is not a code for the date of the end of the world, and how Revelation 1:19 — the things which thou hast seen, the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter — frames the whole book as Christ’s glory, His grace, and His government.
Then a fair tour of the four major ways Christians read Revelation — preterist, historicist, idealist, futurist — where he lands and why, and a closing walk from Genesis to Revelation: everything that began in the garden is brought to its end in the last two chapters.

What to expect
A class built for ordinary people
9:45 to 10:45, then stay
Class runs about an hour. The morning service follows at 11:00, with Junior Church for the kids and a staffed nursery for the little ones.
Disagree agreeably
You will not agree with every interpretation, and that is fine. We major on the majors — Jesus, His death, His resurrection, His return — and hold the rest with open hands.
