Faith is the beginning and the continuing path
Romans 1:17 and Habakkuk 2:4 introduce the message: the just shall live by faith. Salvation is received by grace through faith, and Christian growth calls for continued trust in God’s promises.
Obey before you see the whole outcome
The priests carrying the ark stepped into the Jordan as God directed. The message uses their example to encourage obedience when the next step is clear but the outcome is not.
Jesus calls Peter to follow again
John 21 shows Jesus restoring Peter after his denial. The repeated call to feed Christ’s sheep and follow Him directs attention away from comparing ourselves with others and back to our own response to Jesus.
Surrender your plans and keep serving
